- Using your Google account, open Picasa Web Album in http://picasaweb.google.com
Once you’re in Picasa, click Upload button
Choose the album where you want to put the pictures (if you already had one), or create new album. Let’s say that we want to create new album. Click ‘create a new album’
Enter the description of your new album. Choose the visibility of your album. Public: anyone can view your public albums on your public gallery. Unlisted: only those who have the secret link can see your album. Sign-in required to view: Only those you specify by name can view your photos. Click Continue.
Select photos to upload by browsing to their locations. You can only upload five photos at a time. Click Start Upload.
- Sign in to your blog at blogspot.com
- Go to Dashboard, select Layout, and then Page Elements.
- Click Add a Gadget. Choose HTML/JavaScript widget.
- Put the title of the widget. You might want to name it ‘Slideshow.’
Paste all the words you copy from Picasa in the Content box.
- Adjust the width and height of your slideshow. The slideshow in my blog is set at width="200" height="175". Click Save.
- Your slideshow widget is now ready in your blog.
